Playloomia

Privacy

We hold your email address. That's the whole story.

No profiles sold, no data brokers, no advertising networks. Here is exactly what we keep and how to make us delete it.

Who's responsible for your data

NEONIX SOCIEDAD DE RESPONSABILIDAD LIMITADA, a company incorporated under the laws of Costa Rica (registration number 3-102-927825), registered office at Provincia 01 San José, Cantón 15 Montes de Oca, San Pedro Barrio Dent, Alvmar, Oficina 101, Calle 37, Avenida 3, is the data controller for the newsletter. Reach us any time at privacy@playloomia.com.

What we collect

You give us

  • Your email address. Required — there's no newsletter without it.
  • Your first name, if you choose to type one. Optional, used only to address the email.

Recorded automatically

  • Proof of your consent: the date, time and IP address from which you confirmed your subscription. We keep this because we have to be able to show that you asked to be on the list.
  • Whether you opened an email, via a small invisible image. Note that some mail apps — Apple Mail in particular — load that image automatically, so this figure is approximate and we treat it as such.
  • Which links you clicked. Links in our emails route through our own server before forwarding you on, which is how we know a link was clicked and by which subscriber.

We use open and click data to work out which issues were worth writing and to stop sending to addresses that never engage. It isn't sold, shared or used to build a profile of you anywhere else.

We never collect

  • Payment details. We don't take payments.
  • Anything about your gambling activity, deposits, balances or losses. The newsletter database is separate from any operator's player accounts, and we do not join the two. Subscribing here tells us nothing about whether you play, and playing tells us nothing about whether you subscribe.

Why we're allowed to email you

Because you told us to. Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you clicked the confirmation link. You can take it back at any moment, and taking it back is free, immediate and requires no explanation.

Where it's stored, and who else sees it

Your address sits in our own database, on a server we rent and administer ourselves, located in Moldova. The mailing software is self-hosted listmonk.

We deliberately do not use Mailchimp, Brevo, HubSpot or any similar platform, because doing so would mean handing your address to a third party. There is no such third party.

This website sets no cookies and makes no third-party requests — no analytics, no embedded fonts, no advertising pixels. Pages we host for managing your subscription may set a single functional cookie needed to keep you signed in to your own preferences.

How long we keep it

  • While you're subscribed, plus 30 days after you unsubscribe, so an accidental click can be undone.
  • After that we delete your address, keeping only a one-way scrambled version of it on a suppression list. That exists purely so we can never accidentally email you again — it can't be reversed back into your address.
  • Consent records are kept for as long as we hold your address, and for a period afterwards where the law requires us to be able to evidence consent.

What you can ask us to do

Wherever you live, we'll honour all of these. If you're in the EU, UK or a comparable jurisdiction, they're also your legal rights.

  • See it — we'll send you everything we hold on you.
  • Fix it — correct anything that's wrong.
  • Delete it — we action deletion the same day we read the request.
  • Take it elsewhere — get your data in a machine-readable file.
  • Object, or withdraw consent, which unsubscribes you immediately.

Email privacy@playloomia.com. We reply within 30 days and usually much sooner. No account, no form, no ID check for a simple deletion.

If we handle it badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority. We'd rather you told us first and gave us the chance to fix it.

Where the money comes from

Links to casino operators are advertising: we are paid if you register or deposit through them, and the operator we write about most, BlastBet, is run by the same company that publishes this newsletter. Those links are marked as advertising in the email. It costs you nothing extra, and it doesn't change the figures we print — including when the maths on an offer is bad, in which case we say so.

An operator may separately see that a visitor arrived from one of our links. What it receives is the click, not your identity: we never pass your email address to any operator, including a related one. Once you're on their site you're covered by their privacy policy, not ours.

Under-18s

Playloomia is for adults only. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we delete it immediately if we find out we have.

Changes

If we change anything that matters, we'll say so in the newsletter rather than quietly updating this page and hoping you don't notice. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
